How funny Sara - I am reading ‘Clear’ right now! I am almost done and am equally enthralled by it. I’m also enjoying how much I actually can’t work out where the least 50 pages are going to go! It’s reminded me a lot of ‘The Colony’ by Audrey Magee.
Thanks for sharing the review of "What are Children For?" I may need to read that one now... I'm glad to see some more public discourse about this topic.
Just requested Clear from the library - thank you! As for All Fours ~ whew, what. a. book. I can't stop thinking about it! I definitely think it is one that I will need to revisit in the future, as upon my first reading I was really wrapped up in sexual nature of it all, but I want to go back and dig in deeper on the motherhood and marriage and menopause.....

I adored Clear. One of my top books of the year without a doubt.
I read Clear recently and absolutely adored it! I bought West and mean to read it as soon as possible too!

The podcast Offline with Jon Favreau interviews Jonathan Haidt this week and he talks through the criticisms of his book. It was very interesting.
