As a hard core mood reader, I enjoyed reading this so much. Deedi, you've given me bookish food for thought when it comes to "possibly" managing my tbr in a more organized way
This is so fascinating! I always love seeing how other reads organize their reading life. Deedi, I really liked what you said towards the end about happily missing out on books. That's a mindset I picked up after reading Digital Minimalism a few years ago and it's really helped my reading life!
Thank you so much for this Sara and Deedi! I am a planner through and through, so I am definitely intrigued by the sounds of using Airtable. It seems a bit more sophisticated than my TBR jar method that I’ve been using 😅
As someone who also works in the tech industry, I *love* the intersection of books and tech. It’s so cool to see how Deedi uses Airtable for her reading life. @Deedi, you might like Notion, too! I use it for my library and reading notes!
Evernote! What a throwback. I use notion for a subset of what Deedi uses Airtable for- just my TBR :-) I’m a mix of mood reader and planned reading so it really works for me as a big list of possibilities and helps me keep track of “due dates” too for ARCs or book clubs!
Love it! I use the BookBuddy app to catalog my library and plan what I'll read next. Then use Notion to keep all my reading notes and save any favorite passages and quotes. It's so fun to see what technology readers are using!
Love this! I prefer to plan my reading as well, I’ve managed to keep it fairly simple and only look 3 months out. I keep a list of 8-10 books per month and typically read at least 6. I love the amount of detail here, I need to check out airtable!
I'm a total mood reader but I'm also a bookseller and get some advance copies so try to at least give myself a rough plan of what to read over the month. I've started doing a 'must read/hopeful/finish' list in my phone just to keep track but I love seeing how other people organise their reading. It's so fascinating!
I love this! I am a total mood reader, so it’s nice to hear the other side 🥰
Just wanted to say that I love Deedi's Airtable tracker- it's what I used as a template to create my own reading tracker several years ago!!

I do indeed love Notion! I use it for all my notes too
Ahh so cool to find a fellow Notion and book lover! I feel like we are few and far between. 😄
I used to use good old Evernote lol, but it’s lame and heavily paywalled nowadays!

Thank you for letting me nerd out, Sara!!

As an overwhelmed mood reader, I am so inspired to try this out! Thank you both so much for sharing!
