I sound like a broken record saying it but Substack really is a perfect fit for readers: form, content and community.
Thank you for including me and for supporting the work of so many amazing writers. There are never enough hours in a day to read everything we want, but as this group shows, we sure do try!
Sara, thanks for this eclectic and exciting list of books (and their bookish fans). Not sure how we haven't crossed paths before but I found you through Petya I think and glad I did. All the best.
This is such a wonderful post Sara, thank you for including my Substack. I also love Substack and the book community here brings me so much joy. Happy New Year to all🎉
Thank you for including me and for putting together such a wonderful list! I love getting to engage with so many different readers and such a lively, smart bookish community here!
HUNTER! You are the only other person I’ve known who has read We Were The Universe! I coined it a “younger All Fours” and was absolutely enthralled with it.
Sara -- what a gorgeous list! I now have several new books on my 2025 TBR. And the best part is being introduced to some new bookish friends here on Substack! You've created a wonderful community here among us book lovers. Thank you!
What a smart fun way to end the year! And good reminder that books are a unique journey for every reader, and that’s half the beauty of reading. Thank you for including me, you have been such a good example for us newer bookish writers and I thank you for welcoming us (me) ☺️
I've been planning on reading Rental House but for some reason, I hadn't seen a description about the couple being childless by choice. I am as well, so definitely moving it up my TBR list! That's not a topic that is addressed in books very often, so I'm always interested in reading any that I can find.
I love being here with all of you!!! I'm so excited for more bookish connections in 2025 (if only my 3 yr old and 3 month old will let me open my dang laptop).
