I love to see OUR TOWN on any reading list! My dad read it to me as a kid and even though I didn't get all of it at a young age, it's been such a special story to age into. Every age seems to bring new understanding to it...
I haven't found anyone else who has watched Silo! I really enjoyed it and think it is introducing super interesting questions and perfectly shows flaws and doubt in characters. Cannot wait to see what season 2 brings.
If you have a copy of or can get your hands on the September release “All You Have to Do is Call” by Kerri Maher, I highly recommend it. I don’t think it’s necessarily in your usual reading lane, but the topic and message are so timely I just want everyone to read and discuss it 🥰
I just finished the Silo yesterday too and I was left with questions but the last scene was perfect. I’m interested to see how season 2 is going to play out.
I just started reading Tom Lake yesterday, but I’m not familiar with the story of Our Town...perhaps I should pause and read the play? I read Family Lore last week (I received an ARC) and did not understand/appreciate the story. I’m seeing this book everywhere and I don’t understand why! It was definitely not for me...but I’m sure there’s a reader who will enjoy the book.
The Diplomat...so good!,,

Oooo!! Hadn’t heard of this new P&P adaptation, but it looks so good!
I really want to check out that David Grann book! He’s such an engaging writer.

My sentiments exactly on Tom Lake!

Glad you liked the Grann book. That’s high on my list. Also very much looking forward to the new Jesmyn Ward!

I have started Family Lore twice-- ebook and audio -- and I cannot get into it! I adored her first two YA novels so I am disappointed!
There are SO many other books to read! You’ve given Family Lore enough attention...move on!
So many other books 🤣
