Hey, readers!

I know I’m not alone in feeling like 2023 has gone by in a blur. The depth of the Covid years and my first year motherhood were achingly slow, and it feels like this year someone decided enough was enough and pressed fast forward on life. With nearly a third of November dedicated to travel, this month felt particularly speedy, but also particularly special. We got to have Thanksgiving with our family in Washington, D.C. for the first time since 2019! We decided to extend our east coast travels with a jaunt to New York City to meet our brand new baby niece. Louise loved both being doted on by her big girl cousins in D.C. and being the big cousin to her newest family member in N.Y.C. We know it won’t always be possible to pull her out of school for a week for extra family time, and I’m so glad we were able to make that a priority this year.
