Welcome to the first ever Friday Mood Recs!
I am thrilled to have another space to share my love of books and more with you. The concept of organizing these letters around moods came from my identity as a mood reader and my love of sharing book recommendations that fit your reading moods.
But in addition to being a mood reader, I’m also just a moody person—and I don’t mean that in a self-deprecating or pejorative way! I lean into my moods and let them guide my reading as well as what I’m wearing and watching and listening to. I’m just an all in kind of person!
With Friday Mood Recs, I’ll be sharing more about the moods inspiring my reading life and my beyond, and fill your inbox with recommendations tailored to my current mood. Sometimes these will be book heavy, other times not so much. Some Fridays may be less “on theme” and just whatever I’m in the mood to recommend in the moment! I’m excited to figure it out and get creative!
This week, I’m am soooo in the mood for fall. And for me, fall has always and will always come with an academic nostalgia. So today I’m sharing my best back-to-campus recommendations.
